Fetchlio

About Fetchlio

Fetchlio is a free suite of browser tools for inspecting public video links. Paste a URL to view tags, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and related details without creating an account. The goal is simple: help creators, editors, and marketers study packaging quickly so they can plan clearer uploads — not replace official Studio dashboards or platform analytics.

Why this site exists

Strong videos still need strong packaging. Titles tip searchers toward a click. Descriptions explain the promise. Tags and related signals help platforms understand topic boundaries. Thumbnails decide whether someone stops scrolling. Those signals are often scattered across watch pages, page source, and Studio screens that only owners can open. Fetchlio pulls the publicly available layer into one calm card so you can research peers without fighting five browser tabs.

We focus on legitimate research. The tools are built for public links you are already allowed to view. They are not a way around privacy settings, a bulk scraping appliance, or a promise of ranking results. Patterns you notice should inform original work — clear titles, honest thumbnails, and descriptions written for real viewers.

What you can do

  • View YouTube tags and other metadata from a public URL
  • Preview and save thumbnails for private design reference
  • Export a JSON snapshot for notes, briefs, or light tooling
  • Check basic TikTok, Vimeo, and Dailymotion details
  • Download YouTube media as MP4 or MP3 when the backend is configured

Depth varies by platform. YouTube often returns the richest fields when a server API key is configured. Other platforms may return a thinner set through oEmbed or Open Graph. The interface keeps the same shape either way: labeled fields, copy actions, and clear errors when a link cannot be read.

Who it’s for

Fetchlio is for creators planning the next upload, freelancers onboarding a client, editors comparing formats, and marketers who need a packaging snapshot without buying an enterprise SEO suite for a five-URL research session. If you need private retention graphs or revenue reports, use the official analytics products for channels you own. If you are building production-scale ingest, use each platform’s developer program directly.
